Danielle Harris-Baker is an established trial lawyer who regularly appears in the Massachusetts Probate & Family Courts regarding all aspects of divorce, separation, paternity, contested custody matters, adoption, guardianships, and complaints for contempt, post-divorce modifications, abuse and domestic violence cases. Danielle’s domestic relations practice includes drafting, enforcing and defending pre-nuptial, post-nuptial and cohabitation agreements, and advising and advocating for clients in complex custody and visitation matters, relocation/removal, and same-sex divorce.
Danielle also counsels and represents clients in connection with alimony, child support, spousal support, children’s rights, estate administration and juvenile law cases. Danielle has particular expertise in multi-faceted custody matters and divorces with complex assets. Danielle’s clients range from low income to high net worth individuals throughout Massachusetts.
Routinely appointed by the Court, Danielle serves as a Probate and Family Court Conciliator for divorce, modification, and contempt proceedings, and a Guardian ad Litem in divorce and custody disputes. Danielle is often recognized for her dedication and expertise, and has been named a Superlawyers Rising Star for Family Law from 2013 to present.
Prior to the formation of the Law Offices of Sheara F. Friend, Danielle was an associate at Wilchins, Cosentino & Friend LLP where she focused her practice in domestic relations litigation. Previously, she gained substantial trial experience in all areas of family law litigation, probate litigation and domestic relations at a small family law firm.
